Drill hole SB07-02 was completed in 2007 to a depth of 1,031 metres by Spirit Bear Minerals Ltd, who had a large portion of the Skyline Iskut Property under option. That Agreement has since ended and the property has been returned to Skyline's control.
The objective of drill hole SB07-02 was to test for the down dip extension of the Snip Ore-Body at a location where it was projected to cross into the Skyline land holdings. The projected depth for this hole was approximately 1500metres; however the hole was abandoned due to drilling problems at 1,031 meters.
Skyline has determined that hole SB07-02 remains open for most of its length, and managements intends utilize this hole to complete a Borehole Pulse Electro-Magnetic Survey ("BPEM"). The focus of this survey will be to test whether the Snip Mine Structure can be detected beyond the end of this hole.
The BPEM survey of SB07-02 is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2011, but may be deferred to the 2012 program if poor weather is encountered.
